Course Description

Our Flower session focuses on building your child’s confidence for using Zhuyin. This course is a total review of the entire Zhuyin phonetic system and introduction to Chinese character recognition. Your child will be learning and reviewing Zhuyin compounds and tonal marks through practice books, stories, games, arts and crafts. This is a fun-packed course to start building word knowledge through skillful play.

Flower Session 1 -Level 5

For children who have learned the entire Zhuyin phonetic system, have a basic understanding for blending 2-notations, and can recognize tonal marks.

Objectives

Gradually enhance reading ability from learning new words and phrases to reading sentences and paragraphs.

Key Focuses

2-notation and 3-notation compounds to be added with tonal practices.
Learn as many as 20 characters.
Theme-based learning through reading storybooks, discussing content, and learning new vocabularies.
